A SEAS account gives you access to SEAS services and applications such as Email and Web, including SharePoint.

For access to FAS Research Computing resources please go to FAS Research Computing.

For access to all other FAS resources - including FAS and College accounts - please go to FAS Account Tools.


Apply for a new SEAS account

Harvard Students, Faculty and Staff : login with your Harvard ID and PIN.

External Students and Collaborators : If you do not have a HUID and PIN you must submit an application. Please note that this is a long process.


Reset your SEAS password

If you know your current SEAS password, click the link to change it : https://password.seas.harvard.edu

This web application will reset your password for ALL of the mentioned services. It will also allow you to setup/change 3 security questions in case you forget your password. 


Account Lockout Policy

In an attempt to reduce the risk of malicious parties attempting to impersonate SEAS account holders and in compliance with the University Enterprise Security Policy,  SEAS Information Security Office has the following account lockout policy:

Ten (10) failed login attempts within a five (5) minute window will result in the account being locked (unusable) for a period of five (5) minutes. After the five minute lockout window, the account will automatically unlock.

This change effects all user accounts in the SEAS identity space (active directory and unix), as well as Exchange and Sharepoint.
