  • CS Colloquium

    Throughout the academic year SEAS' computer science faculty host high-profile speakers as part of the Computer Science Colloquium Series. All are welcome to attend. If you wish to receive regular announcements of upcoming Harvard Computer Science Colloquia, you may subscribe.

  • Harvard Computing Society (HCS)

    The Harvard Computing Society (HCS) is a student group dedicated to promoting interest in computing and information technologies among members of the Harvard community, with great wit and panache.

  • Harvard Computing Contest Club (HC3)

    Undergraduate club dedicated to computing competitions.

  • Ice Cream Social

    Each Thursday (during regular term time) at 3.30 the SEAS graduate Student Life Committee hosts an ice cream social/gathering.

  • ABCD Group

    The ABCD Group is an informal association of system managers, programmers, researchers, students, administrators, and faculty at Harvard University and its affiliated institutions in the Boston area. The group's primary objective is to promote communication over a broad range of computer related topics and issues.

Affiliated Activities

  • Center for Research on Computation and Society

     The Center for Research on Computation and Society (CRCS) brings computer scientists together with a broad range of researchers to tackle fundamental computational problems arising from societal issues, such as privacy and security, digital copyrights, and file sharing.

  • Cyberinfrastructure Lab (CI Labs)

    CIT's research computing group (called the Cyberinfrastructure Lab (CI Labs)) is responsible for is responsible for high performance computing resources at the School; consulting for faculty, researcher, and student research projects; and collaboration with vendors to bring advanced technology to SEAS.

  • Berkman Center for Internet and Society

    The Berkman Center for Internet and Society's mission is to explore and understand cyberspace; to study its development, dynamics, norms, and standards; and to assess the need or lack thereof for laws and sanctions.
