• iMechanica
  

  The mission of iMechanica is to use the Internet to enhance communication among mechanicians to pave a way to evolve online all knowledge of mechanics. iMechanica is hosted on a server at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.  Volunteers--mechanicians just like you--serve as architects and moderators. iMechanica is free: writers are free to post, and readers are free to read.

• Ice Cream Social
  

  Each Thursday (during regular term time) at 3.30 the SEAS graduate Student Life Committee hosts an ice cream social/gathering.

• ABCD Group
  

  The ABCD Group is an informal association of system managers, programmers, researchers, students, administrators, and faculty at Harvard University and its affiliated institutions in the Boston area. The group's primary objective is to promote communication over a broad range of computer related topics and issues.

• Center for Nanoscale Systems
  

  The Center for Nanoscale Systems (CNS), formerly known as the Center for Imaging and Mesoscale Structures (CIMS), was created by FAS in 1999 to assist and support the research community of Harvard University researchers and collaborators.

• Materials Research Science and Engineering Center
  

  TheMaterials Research Science and Engineering Center (MRSEC) at Harvard is one of eleven such centers sponsored by the National Science Foundation. The Center is the focus of interdisciplinary research at the University.

• Nanoscale Science and Engineering Center
  

  The Nanoscale Science and Engineering Center (NSEC) is a collaboration among Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of California at Santa Barbara and the Museum of Science in Boston with participation by Delft University of Technology (Netherlands), the University of Tokyo (Japan), and Brookhaven National Laboratory, Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Sandia National Laboratory.

  The The Rowland Institute at Harvard is dedicated to experimental science over a broad range of disciplines. Current research is carried out in physics, chemistry, and biology, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary work and the development of new experimental tools.
