My research interest is primarily in structural properties of materials used in Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC). With its strength as a clean energy conversion system, fuel cells are expected to play a major role in environmental issues, especially in air quality improvement. Fundamental understandings on materials properties including microstructure and interface characterization are essential for further development of this technology. My research mainly involves the use of Transmission Electron Microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and Impedance Spectroscopy.
