Taeseok Kim

I am studying arbitrarily patterned III-N-V quantum structures using an energetic ion beam and pulsed laser meltingprocess. Through this research, I am conducting semiconductor device fabrication, surface and thin film characterization including Ballistic Electron Emission Microscopy (joint advised by Prof. Venkatesh Narayanamurti), and a simulation on the heat flow dynamics within laser-materials interaction.

I have also investigated the self-organized growth of nanometer islands in electrochemically controlled environment, designing and performing experiments to control sub-monolayer metal islands growth, collaborating with Prof. Cynthia Friend. I can be reached at kim57@fas.harvard.edu for any further questions.
