Short description

The bohlin C-VOR rheometer is a stress-controlled instrument. It is not the state of the art for stress-controlled rheology, but it is a solid and reliable instrument that is easy to use and useful for a variety of applications. Some of its characteristics are:
  • Uses same geometries as HR-nano
  • Easy to use, many geometries to choose from.
  • Reliable measurements with

Using the bohlin C-VOR

  • Get training
  • Reserve it
  • If anything unusual happens during use, please ask one of the people responsible for the rheometers. If the main air pressure drops below 70 psi, stop all measurements, do not touch the tools and contact one of the following emergency contacts:
    • Harvard facilities office: (617) 495-2840
    • Harvard Police (during the night): (617) 495-1212
