While testing the color imaging cameras on the NASA PCS instrument, we acquired this image of AB6 crystals. The crystals are illuminated with white light. The colored regions result from different regions of the sample cell Bragg scattering different wavelengths of the illumination. The bright spots are large crystalites oriented such that their strong Bragg scattering is directed at the camera. The field of view is approximately 1.8 cm.
