It is an emulsion with a solution of 10mM ortho terphenyl in toluene as the
dispersed phase, and deionized water/SDS as the continuous phase. As you can
see, there is some spontaneous ordering in a crystalline pattern. The image was taken 2 full days after emulsion creation, so it is very stable. The droplets are approximately 35 microns in diameter.
