A 20 μm SF9 insect cell expressing Dendra2-ABD (Actin Binding Domain of Filamin, an actin crosslinking protein). Dendra2 fluoresces green like GFP, but when hit with a 405 nm flash, it quickly changes fluorescence to red. Here we flashed only one side of the cell, causing one side to switch to red while the other stays green.
