Research

My research focuses on the study of thin film High-K oxide dielectric materials for application into microwave devices and embedded passives in chip packaging. By developing novel processing techniques, we can significantly vary stoichiometry and decrease thermal budgets, thereby growing high quality, low loss films. Recently, my work has focused on synthesizing and characterizing novel materials for high-K applications, in particular, materials know to have colossal dielectric constants and investigating these mechanisms.
