Access your home directory (Win)

Your home directory is where you may be storing files or where an old roaming profile (contents of your windows desktop and my documents) are stored on our networked file servers. This is how to connect in Windows:

Quick Connect (One time only connection)

Hold down the Windows-Key (the key between Ctrl and Alt) and press R OR click the Start button then Run... This will bring up the Run Window.

\\vfiler1.seas.harvard.edu\~<username> (if your home directory is on \\vfiler1)

Make sure you replace "<username>" with your actual SEAS username. For example if your e-mail address is johndoe@seas.harvard.edu, then your SEAS username is simply johndoe.
