Labs

Labs are to be done individually or in pairs, but each student must submit his own report. The ES 50 lab is in Maxwell-Dworkin B-131 and is open only during TFs' lab and office hours. You may work on the lab at home or bring it to lab hours. If you need components or replacements, contact Deke De Costa. You are responsible for getting all the components you need from Deke. Extensions will not be given for this reason, so consider working on the lab early.

First lab, Basic logic devices and circuits.
Second lab, Flip-flops and some applications. On page 3-16, under question 2, the last cell of the table (modulus 16, freq. division) should read fD = fin / 16.
Third lab, An arithmetic logic unit. (not available online) Fourth lab, Basic AC waveform measurements, due Friday 7 December 2001 at 2 PM. (not available online)
