SEAS Award for Faculty Collaboration with Staff

Purpose: To recognize faculty for excellence in collaboration with SEAS staff.

Who is Eligible: All faculty are eligible.

Number of Recipients Per Year: One

Criteria for Selection: Excellence in collaboration is defined by effectively working with others to achieve postive results. Recipients of the award are selected based on demonstrated excellence in collaboration and the recipient's impact.

What Award Consists Of: The name of the winner will be engraved on the SEAS Award for Faculty Collaboration with Staff plaque. This plaque hangs outside the second floor kitchen in Pierce Hall.

Nominations and Timeframe: Nominations are accepted in the form of a letter to Dean Doyle, which should include examples of how the respective faculty member exhibits excellence in collaboration with SEAS staff. All nominations should be emailed to Steve Marley, Director of Human Resources (steve_marley@harvard.edu) wtih the subject line: SEAS Award for Faculty Collaboration with Staff. Nominations will be accepted from all members of the SEAS community. Nominations are usually open in February; please see emails for specific dates.

Review Process: All nominations will be reviewed by the SEAS Administrative Leadership Team, which will then make recommendations to the Dean.

Announcement of Winner: The SEAS Award for Faculty Collaboration with Staff winner will be announced at the April All Hands Meeting.
