MACHINE SHOPS

Every shop user at SEAS must be trained in the SEAS/Physics Instructional Shop, and must at least receive RED certification. For more information about the Certification program, please consult the Instructional Shop website.

After completing their certification, the safety officer of the shop must also complete a Machine Shop Safety Orientation for the specific shop which the user will be working in. If a researcher uses multiple shops, they must complete an orientation for each shop.
