Gen. John E. Hyten, A.B. ’81, an engineering and applied sciences concentrator, was featured in a Colorado Springs Gazette article about the potential for a war that extends into space.
Hyten, leader of the U.S. Air Force Space Command, is responsible for organizing, equipping, training, and maintaining mission-ready space and cyberspace forces and capabilities. He also holds a master's degree in business administration from Auburn University.
