Paul announces run for Maryland House of Delegates

Samir Paul, A.B. ’10 (computer science) has entered the race for the District 16 seat in the Maryland House of Delegates.

A computer science teacher in a countywide magnet program based at Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring, Md., Paul joins two other contenders vying for the open seat in Montgomery County’s June Democratic primary.

Paul, who also holds a master’s degree in teaching from American University, previously worked as a teacher in the District of Columbia Public Schools and as a public sector analysis consultant at IBM.
