Beta Technologies, an aviation company founded by Kyle Clark, A.B. ’02 (engineering sciences), has been featured in the Vermont news outlet VTDigger for its novel electric aircraft.
The startup, which Clark founded in 2012, is a design and build company focused on electric aircraft and recharging solutions. The article highlights the company’s prototype of an electric aircraft with a top speed of about 170 miles an hour, which rises into the air like a helicopter and then flies like a passenger plane.
