Roche, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Institute for Medical Engineering and Science at MIT, focuses her research on new approaches to cardiac device design.
Her lab develops medical devices that augment or assist native function, borrowing principles from nature to design implantable, biomimetic therapeutic devices.
