Sengeh named to World Economic Forum’s Class of Young Global Leaders

David Sengeh, A.B. ’10 (engineering sciences), who serves as chief innovation officer for the West African nation Sierra Leone, has been named to the World Economic Forum’s 2019 Class of Young Global Leaders.

The Forum of Young Global Leaders brings together an accomplished group of individuals under age 40 who participate in a five-year, collaborative program aimed at improving the state of the world.

Sengeh, the first national chief innovation officer on the African continent, heads the recently formed Directorate for Science, Technology, and Innovation and serves as an adviser to the president of Sierra Leone.
