Appier raises $271M in IPO

AI company was founded by Chih-Han Yu, Ph.D. '10

Appier, which was founded by Chih-Han Yu, Ph.D. ’10 (computer science), raised $271 million in its initial public offering on the Tokyo Stock Exchange on March 29, 2021.

The company, which uses artificial intelligence to help businesses solve problems, was founded in 2012 and is based in Taiwan. Appier now has 17 offices around the globe.
