Okechukwu Abana was born and raised in Nigeria. He moved to the US at the age of eighteen to earn a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Howard University, Washington, DC. He developed a keen interest in mathematics and physics as a teenager, and through motivation from his parents, he decided to pursue a college degree in engineering.
