We do not offer rolling admissions. All students begin graduate study in the fall term.
Students with bachelor's degrees in the natural or quantitative sciences, mathematics, or engineering are invited to apply for admission. Applications from minorities and women are particularly welcome.
All students admitted to our Ph.D. program receive full financial support. This includes tuition, fees, and a cost-of living stipend.
If you have basic questions about the application process see:

- Degree-seeking students (PhD, ME, SM and AB/SM) submit an online GSAS application by selecting program "Engineering and Applied Sciences."
- Non-degree seeking students (Special Students) and those wishing to apply for Visiting Scholar status apply directly to GSAS.
SEAS and GSAS require electronic submission of the entire application, including letters of recommendation and transcripts.
SEAS does not require an interview as part of the application process and we cannot offer applicants the opportunity for in person interview with the admissions staff. Attending a SEAS information session is the best way to have your questions answered in person. More information about our information sessions can be found here.
