Pulkit K. Agrawal, S.B. ’15 (mechanical engineering) was featured in the San Diego Union-Tribune for his brewery-focused software startup, The 5th Ingredient.
Agrawal, a former process engineer for Ballast Point Brewing, founded The 5th Ingredient in 2017. The company helps breweries track and analyze data collected during the beer-making process, such as pressure, temperature, pH, alcohol level, and sugar content, to improve quality and boost efficiency.
