RightHand Robotics partners with Locus Robotics

RightHand Robotics, a startup co-founded by Leif Jentoft, S.M. ’13, Ph.D. ’14 (engineering sciences) that provides integrated robotic piece-picking solutions, has entered a partnership with Locus Robotics, a firm that develops mobile autonomous robots.

The companies will collaborate to develop cross-platform robotics solutions for the warehouse industry. Combining Locus's autonomous multi-robot model for piece handling with RHR's autonomous work cell to provide greater automation could address multiple fulfillment processes, from picking to packing, especially in high-volume environments.
