Trainings

To attend in-person training, please be sure to have completed both the in-person orientation and the Machine Shop and Makerspace Safety-Soldering Required (EHS) online training.

DIY Training

Cricut Vinyl Cutting 

Dye Sublimation + Heat Press

FDM 3D Printing 

Pop3 3D Scanner (Reach out to Joe to reserve time on this device. It must stay within the REEF).

Soldering

Level I (Sign-Up for In-Person Training )

Casting Room Orientation + Spray Booth

This orientation is approximately 5 minutes. We will go over safety of the polymer casting room and how to operate the spray booth. This training does not cover how to perform polymer casting.

Embroidery Machine

In this training, you will learn how to the thread the embroidery machine and create an embroidered element.

Intro to Woodshop

In this training, you will learn how to safely operate the vertical bandsaw, the belt and disc sander, the scroll saw, and the compound miter saw. 

Laser Cutting/Engraving

In this training, you will learn how to safely operate the laser machine by engraving and cutting out a custom design.
