Shuttle & Van Service

Shuttles provide a key source of cross-campus transportation. Based on community feedback, augmented services will be available to connect Cambridge and Allston.

  • More information on Harvard Shuttles can be found at http://transportation.harvard.edu/shuttle-van-services
  • Real-time tracking for Harvard shuttles is available at shuttle.harvard.edu and will be integrated into the new Harvard University campus map. Real-time shuttle tracking is also available on smartphones through the Transloc “Rider” mobile app.

  • New digital transit screens with real-time transportation information – including Harvard shuttles, MBTA buses, and BlueBikes – will be installed in the SEC atrium and in 114 Western Avenue lobby.

  • Shuttle schedules and frequency are subject to construction delays, traffic, and weather.

Allston Shuttle Loop

Allston Loop Shuttle

The Allston Loop Shuttle runs clockwise between Cambridge and Allston.

Service Schedule: Academic Year

  • Monday - Friday
  • 7:00am - 12:00am
  • Shuttles arrive every 20 minutes during peak hours. Less frequently off-peak.

Service Schedule: Summer & School Vacation

  • Starting in June 2020
  • Monday - Friday
  • 7:00am - 7:00pm
  • Shuttles arrive every 30 minutes.

 

Quad-SEC Shuttle Route

Quad-SEC Shuttle Route

This new route between The Quad (undergraduate residential houses Cabot, Currier, and Pforzheimer) and the Science & Engineering Complex will run during the academic year, starting in late August 2020.

  • 7:00am - 7:20pm
  • Shuttles arrive every 20 minutes.

 

Barry's Corner Shuttle Service

Barry's Corner Shuttle (Summer Service)

  • Monday - Friday
  • 7:00am - 10:00am & 4:20pm - 7:20pm
  • Shuttles arrive every 20 minutes.

 

Harvard Evening Van Service

Harvard Evening Van Service

The Harvard Evening Van transports faculty, staff, and students safely around campus as a supplement to the fixed route shuttle bus system.

The app-based service is available during the academic year from 7:00 PM until 2:15 AM and summer service is available 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM (midnight). Anyone with a Harvard ID can sign up for an account.
